Alright guys, for those of you who are Final Fantasy VII fans. I wanted to tell you that Sony is working on the FFVII remake. As long as they have people that are interested in working on it, they said they would make it. For those of you who don’t know, Sony released a tech demo back in 2005 at E3. They said it wasn’t going to be a game but was just an example of the PS3’s power on an older game. After that, millions of fans everywhere got pissed, wrote and rioted until Sony decided to change their minds and give the remake a shot. Well I certainly hope they keep up on it and don’t lose interest. I personally would love to see this game come out seeing as it’s my third favorite game of all time. For those of you who haven’t seen the demo, here you go.

erm so how exactly did you find this out? coz they keep saying it won’t even be considered until final fantasy 13 is completed etc… apparantly if they do it they want to do it properly and with the original team, and the hardest part is getting all the team back together as they now all work on different projects etc etc..
Well to answer your question I read an article in Game Informer last year that explained all of it to me. They also mentioned that the remake of Chrono Trigger had been worked on but the people that were working on it lost interest and that project had been terminated. You can actually search for it and find the data that they posted on a site. There’s going to be plenty of speculation until they actually say for sure that it’s going to be 100% made. I expect that the story will be jumping around for a while but this is the latest I had heard. You may be right with the whole finishing of FFXIII before they decide it will be made but then again that could be old news too considering that they’ve been making FFXIII around the same time they were making FFXII. It’s kind of a stalemate.

will i really hope they do remake this game i would so buy a ps3 just to play it for sure….. but if they keep telling us its not going to be made then hope get crushed and no one will even want it when it dose come out….if u make someone wait too long the move on thats an old saying why dont they get that thou there big fat money making heads its not all about the money games started to bring the fans something fun to do…..! will we all want this game its time for them to see that hell if i can i would work on it my self but i wouldnt know where to start? how would i here in canada get a job at Square-Enix and get on that team its impossable since they dont want to even get people to do it they want the old team! i say get the team who did Final Fantasy Crisis Core and they would do just fine!!!
Well said Leo, I agree with you whole-heartedly. I myself am going to college in hopes of getting a job in Square-Enix. I know that if may be unlikely but someday I will. If I were part of the team I also would work on the game. I spent a good year and a half of my life with this game alone just playing it and finding out everything about it. I love FFVII from the game play to the story line, it was phenominal. All I gotta say is to have faith and pray that they finish the game. Plus, they’re under more incentive because if they don’t make it then they’ll have millions and millions of angry fans on their cases. As far as getting a job with them goes, get the degree and shoot for it. That’s all I have to say, I’m in the same boat as you.
